1. Rental Period

The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time and ends at the scheduled return time as specified in the rental agreement. A same-day rental counts as one (1) day. Late returns beyond one (1) hour past the scheduled return time will be charged an additional full day at the applicable daily rate. Extended late returns may incur additional fees.

2. Authorized Use

The rented trailer may only be used for lawful purposes within the state of Arizona. The renter agrees not to overload the trailer beyond its rated Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). The trailer shall not be used to haul hazardous materials, live animals, or any items prohibited by law. Subletting or unauthorized transfer of the trailer to any third party is strictly prohibited. Only the renter and any authorized additional drivers listed on the rental agreement may operate the tow vehicle with the trailer attached.

3. Renter Requirements

The renter must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid U.S. driver's license. The renter must provide a copy of their driver's license (front and back) and current auto insurance card prior to the rental. The tow vehicle must be properly rated and equipped to tow the rented trailer, including an appropriate hitch, wiring harness, and brake controller (if required).

4. Insurance Requirements

The renter must maintain valid auto liability insurance that covers towing a trailer for the entire duration of the rental period. Proof of insurance must be provided before the rental begins. Rockin R Rentals does not provide insurance coverage for the trailer or its contents. The renter is responsible for verifying that their policy covers trailer towing. Any claims arising from accidents, damage, or theft during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter and their insurance provider.

5. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of $250.00 is required at the time of booking. The deposit is authorized on the renter's credit or debit card and will be released within 5-7 business days after the trailer is returned in good condition. Deductions from the deposit may be made for damage beyond normal wear and tear, excessive cleaning required, missing equipment or accessories, and late return fees.

6. Cleaning Fee

A non-refundable cleaning fee is included with each rental ($50.00 for the car hauler, $75.00 for the dump trailer). This covers standard post-rental cleaning. If the trailer is returned with excessive debris, dirt, or materials that require additional cleaning beyond normal use, an additional cleaning charge will be deducted from the security deposit.

7. Damage & Liability

The renter is responsible for the trailer from the time of pickup until the time of return. Any damage to the trailer during the rental period, including but not limited to structural damage, tire damage, electrical damage, and cosmetic damage, is the renter's financial responsibility. Pre-rental and post-rental inspections will be documented. The renter should inspect the trailer at pickup and report any pre-existing damage. Damage repair costs will be charged to the renter's payment method on file.

8. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time will be charged a one-day rental fee. No-shows (failure to pick up the trailer without cancellation) will forfeit the entire rental amount. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.

9. Pickup & Return

Trailers are picked up and returned at our Phoenix, AZ location. Pickup and return are contactless via our lockbox system. The renter will receive a lockbox code via text message approximately two (2) hours before the scheduled pickup time. The renter is responsible for properly securing the trailer to their tow vehicle. Upon return, the trailer must be parked in the designated area and the keys returned to the lockbox.

10. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking, including the rental fee, cleaning fee, applicable taxes (Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax), and security deposit authorization. We accept major credit and debit cards. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Tax rates are subject to change based on applicable state, county, and city rates.

11. Limitation of Liability

Rockin R Rentals shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the rented trailer. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the rental. The renter assumes all risk associated with the use of the trailer, including but not limited to loading, unloading, towing, and securing cargo.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
